How to Change Your Life in 30 Days?

Share/Bookmark

April 15, 2011

I recently read a short eBook that I found to be very, very engaging and powerful. I put it on my iPad and plan to read it a few more times and refer back to it often. That's how good it is!

The title is "30 Days to Change Your Life" and it's written by Mark Harrison. Mark has put together some incredible insights on how to effect change in our lives.

It's an easy book to read. Mark has laid it out with 30 short chapters with the idea of reading a chapter a day... right... I just kept on reading and finished it in about 3 days!

Mark builds his ideas by drawing from various cultures and religions and adding in personal experiences and stories. The result is a very positive and uplifting guide to help the reader find and identify areas and actions in their everyday life that can, and will, effect change. I can't recommend this book strongly enough!

Click here to learn more and to purchase Mark's book: 30 Days to Change Your Life.
(note: this is an affiliate link - however I would, and do, recommend the book regardless)

Personally, I don't think Mark's charging enough for this book; his message is easily worth several times the price!

Until Next Time,
Fred

I'm not sure how I came across your page, but I'm glad I did. I'm trying to find some ground when it comes to being a work at home mom. Do you think you could have read just one chapter a day? Do you think that you'll adhere to the lessons of the book in your own life? I need something different, I'm tired of all the same regurgitated self help books. Thanks.

Michelle - I can't recommend Mark's book enough. The chapters are short, easy to understand, and are easy to translate into action. He has some unique ideas and perspectives, as well as some of the basic ideas you probably have come across before if you've read much of this type of material.

Astonishing! 30 days is just equivalent to 1 month. I guess its not a total change process coz it really would take lots of time. But anyway, quite interesting book and some thoughts to ponder for a transformation. thanks! =)

It is always very advice-able to read motivational books as it helps a lot to make you clear in life. It always answers a lot of questions in life which we have and most of time are remained unanswered. I am surely going to read this book and will let you know about my experience.

While there are more than many books about getting successful in a very easy way, the better thing is to actually DO something than READ books that tell usually the same things about motivation, not giving up on your idea and things like that. I recommend for everyone - just create something valuable and put some effort on showing it to the people. Then you will definitely earn a lot. Nothing comes easy and creating bad not worthy things is really bad idea. Focusing on your aim and doing your best always give some advantages. Good luck!

i understand the value of motivational books but surely a lot of bettering yourself and life involves breaking habits and that psychologically takes 3-4 months

Gosh - I remember Mark Harrison from about 15 years ago when he had a company called Streetwise Publications (I think that was it anyway) - I guess he's still doing the same, but better!

Last thing of his I read was about making money from Auction property and it was brilliant.

(I may of course be mixing him up, but the chances of two Mark Harrisons in the same field is pretty slim)

Kelly - I contacted Mark and he says that he is NOT the person you remember. It must be another Mark Harrison.

I would also recommend 'Influence:The Psychology of Persuasion' by Robert Cialdini. As an entrepreneur and a marketer, it helps you understand why people behave the way they do and how to position your efforts to benefit from them.

Most people don't really want to change. They are addicted to their struggle, or won't let go of the things they want to change about themselves. Others think change is passive. I've found NLP a great tool for change. It does take persistence because every habit you want to get rid of must be replaced with a new habit. Does anyone have a comment on what makes this book a notch above the others? I'd be interested to hear. Thanks.

I read this book and found it very useful. My favorite part of the book is when he gets into personal relationships with others. In a world where social media and screens of all sorts, from the television to the computer, dominate our lives, it's always important to get back to your priorities.

This reminded me of a Matt Cutts Ted talk in which he says we can be enthusiastic for anything 30 days and encouraged people to try it. He wrote a novel in 30 days, for example.

If I get some time I will check out this book as it sounds very inspiring!

Motivation has become the need of the hour, in some countries the depression rate has increased like anything and you need to do something. Motivational books like these will be of great help for people to get them going. This is a good post and will subscribe to the eBook whenever i can. Thanks for the post, keep posting people need it.

This looks refreshing. I'm sick of seeing books that promise to change your life instantly everywhere. I've found that life changes takes time because it's a process or a journey ; that AHA! moment is just part of the whole process.

I have read a part of this book from my friend. It's impressive. It's better to listen to Mark's advice that we read it one chapter per day, and in this way we have time to think more about what the book want to teach us.

I'm sorry, but I really don't believe in this kind of things :) However, it seams that many people are trying these eBooks. I think you should put a lot of effort in any kind of business to make it work. Just reading a book won't help much.

Thanks for a tip. I may not have time to put it on my list to read books, but would recommend one I read recently. I am just amazed by the message:
It´s David Deida´s "The Way of the Superior Man".

Btw: I liked your bottles - it´s actually (no, really) something I´ve been looking for some time, but it's not available in my city... (in Europe)
